The Dutch Puppy Contest is the national pup title of the Netherlands, and the weekend around it is one of the friendliest dates on the European pup calendar. The winner takes the Mx Puppy NL sash for the year ahead. The reigning holder is Pup Mozi, elected for 2026.
The title is decided on the Saturday, but the community programme starts the night before, which is what makes the trip worth it if you are travelling in. Friday evening opens with a meet and greet where you can talk to the contestants and the judges before anyone is on stage. Saturday starts gently with coffee and cake, then moves to Club Church for the contest itself, followed by a social, a mosh and a dance.
When: Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October 2026. The contest runs from 13:30 to 18:00 on the Saturday.

Programme: Friday 20:00, meet and greet at Prik. Saturday 12:00, pre-contest coffee and cake at The Bronx. Saturday 13:30, contest at Club Church.
