Easter Berlin gathers the leather, latex, rubber, skinhead, uniform and fetish communities for a week built around the Easter weekend. An official ECMC event, it is presented as one of the largest fetish gatherings in Europe during the Easter period, with the Mr Leather Berlin contest running its finals as an evening show across the week and a citywide programme of parties in the district’s famous venues.
A highlight is the open-air fetish market in Schoneberg, spread over two days from around noon to the evening, with stalls, performances and a crowd out in full gear around Nollendorfplatz, Motzstrasse and Fuggerstrasse. It is the same historic quarter that hosts Folsom Europe, and over Easter it takes on the same buzz.
This is primarily a leather and fetish week rather than a pup-specific event, but Berlin’s pup scene is active and visible, and the city even runs dedicated fetish and puppy tours of its historic queer quarter.
